CORRECTIONS - And that's a Wrap
Sorry all, I cut and pasted without checking… please note the MAJOR corrections.
1. BANTAM A1 of course, won the Tier 2 Bantam Provincials, not A2.
2. AGM is on the 19th, not the 18th.
Thank you Alysin, Tom and Andrew for pointing these out. Any others? Let me know (hope not)…

As we say goodbye to the 2016/17 minor hockey season, the only word that seems to come to mind is WOW!! Actually, there are a few more expressions that came to my mind, but I didn’t think they were appropriate for a newsletter.
In case you missed it, we capped off an incredible season by all of our PMAHA teams by capturing not 1, but two Provincial title banners this week!
On Wednesday night in Powell River, our Bantam A1 team took on BWC for the title of champs and laid down an amazing and gutsy performance. After losing 2 of their players in a game on Monday, the team left it all on the table, with a dominating performance winning 6-3.
On Thursday night Our Midget A1 team met the Vernon Vipers who were the only team they had lost to during the tournament. It was a tight game, and Vernon kept the pressure on, but the boys played as a team, and never let up battling right to the end. An empty-netter with just over a minute left sealed the deal and the team took the Provincial title with a 5-3 victory.
I had the pleasure to attend many of these games as well as many of our other team’s games during playoffs, and I have to thank each and every player, parent and coach for their display of sportsmanship & class -you make us proud!
I am so looking forward to seeing all of you at our AGM on the 19th of April, where we will once again have an opportunity to recognize all of our teams and hand out our annual awards to some very deserving teams and players.
On behalf of all of us on your executive – THANK YOU!!
